I was visiting home. I have lived in the States for many years now, but I watched in horror as the Bush administration beat the drums for war. I tried in my speech at the Bournemouth rally to tell the British people that many in America were against the war. In fact, as I remember, most people I knew thought it was a dreadful mistake.
