I woke up at 6am to Talking Heads singing Psycho Killer as my alarm call. Woke my husband and 6 children aged (at the time) 3, 4, 8, 9, 14 & 15 for breakfast.
Once we were all ready, we left to make the 80 mile drive to Glasgow City Centre and gathered at Glasgow Green for the March. We waited for nearly 2 hours before we started walking and the front of the March had already reached the SECC, our destination.
By the time we arrived we had missed most of the speeches but it didn’t matter as we knew the message from the speech makers was shared by all who attended. ‘NOT IN MY NAME’
