Kickstarter Backers

Hello Kickstarter Backers!

Thank you again so much for all your support and patience. It’s been a long and winding road from the film’s early beginnings in 2006, to its UK release in 2015 – and it’s not over yet.

Since our screening at Sheffield Doc Fest last year our small team has been diligently squirreling away behind the scenes, mixing sound, putting finishing touches on the edit, raising additional funds, and getting all our paperwork in order in preparation for the last big push.

As a thank you to everyone who’s brought us this far, we wanted to start fulfilling the Kickstarter promises we made 3 years ago, and part of that is giving you access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content from the film’s production and release, starting with the live Q&A that followed our premiere screening.

We’ll be updating this page over the next few months, so please do come back for more exclusive content as and when we release it.

We hope you enjoy what you see here and that some of you in the UK have already had the chance to see the film on the big screen. The film will continue to play in cinemas for the next couple of months and you can find local listings at WeAreMany.com/cinemas

Other physical rewards will start being produced and shipped out soon. Please bear in mind though that we can’t send out DVDs or download links until the film has finished playing in cinemas. If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@wearemany.com.

With heartfelt thanks,

Amir and the We Are Many team

On May 21 2015, We Are Many premiered in 84 cinemas across the UK.

The film was followed by a Q&A in the host venue in London which was broadcast out live to all participating cinemas. Hosted by Jon Snow from Channel 4 News, the panel featured the film’s director Amir Amirani, Blur frontman and activist Damon Albarn, comedian Omid Djalili, Stop the War Coalition convenor Lindsey German, international legal expert Philippe Sands QC, and actor and activist Greg Wise.
