I went with my three children on the march in London. We caught a crowded train from Lewes full of fellow protestors and the atmosphere was purposeful, determined, but very pleasant. We walked to Hyde Park and then made our way home. There was a clear feeling in my mind that the huge numbers meant our voice would be heard by a government that was meant to be Labour – socialist, for the people and not right wing USA bushville- but oh how wrong! Blair betrayed the people of this country and in Iraq. He fell into bed with Bush and they prayed together – hypocrites – no true Christian spirit would have force- fed such lies in order to go to war. Robin Cook was the voice of the people. Claire a Short was disappointing. The problems of today were created then and Iraq has been ruined. It made and still makes no sense!
