We live in plymouth, but have family in watford. So we travelled up and stayed overnight in watford. We took our family on the March. We had three children, our eldest daughter was 14and we have twins who were 9 at the time. It was the first demonstration they have ever taken part in. There was such a strong feeling of common purpose and strength . The children were buoyed up with certainty that the government would have to listen to such a huge protest movement. It was freezing cold, and we arrived at the park after all the main speeches, the children were disappointed to have Missed Ms dynamite. But it was an amazing experience . Such a huge protest, and such a feeling of community. People hanging out of windows along the route expressing support.
