I marched with my mum and Steve and my friend and his father who had family in Iraq. i remember the sheer volume of people in the streets- old and young from all walks of life… Feeling euphoric to be part of something and thinking how could the government ignore so many people … I remember bein g depressed when we went to war… However tonight I watched #we are many at woodford green curzon. Thankyou Amir for your film- it’s like the ripples on a pond- though we thought we had failed at the time- there were unintended consequences which I am proud to be a part of. I will march for what I believe is right- because I can, because it may cause change and because I would feel worse if I had to explain to my grandchildren … “I did nothing”
