I was far too young to understand it (bare in mind I am now 18, so that would have been 13 years ago), but I remember being on my dads shoulders chanting “Down down Tony Blair!” with thousands of people. I remember seeing thousands of people underneath me and I was trying to see where the end of thousands of people was. There was no ending, I remember thinking this is infinite people, will we be walking forever? The streets were closed off, people walked were cars drove – which was so strange to me at the time. I’m so grateful to have been apart of it.
