London

I marched with my two girls aged 7 and 5 and my wife, it was wonderful, serious, joyous, noisy and moving. I work in Westminster, I’m a maintenance man, over the weeks/months I had become very politicised, leaflets and info was being handed out around there all the time. Resulting in me, a lowly maintenance man being aware of what has only now just come out all these years later with Chilcot. Blair knew, I mean come on, if I knew he must of, it was all lies.
I remember the evening of the decision in parliament to go to war, the police kettled a group of about 300 outside parliament and then blocked of the roads around parliament square and at Lambeth bridge thus stopping tens of thousands more joining the protest, and the media reporting that only a small number of protesters turned up. Lies, manipulation and pro war propaganda all the way, I remember it well.
