I felt I had to do this. In all the names of the soldiers who had died in all the wars, particularly WW1 and WW11. There was no sense of us being in jeopardy. Nothing was being done about dictators in other countries. We didn’t do this with Idi Amin in the 70s, as a child he was always in the news and I couldn’t make sense of picking out one dictator against so many others. This was two ego maniacs, working together, doing something that wasn’t what the public wanted. This wasn’t democracy working for the good of mankind. They say they follow Christian faith, but nothing in their actions was Christian at all. They were picking a fight in one place, instead of leading the world towards global peace. War is never the answer to our problems, it’s always another beginning to more problems.
