I am a Methodist Minister and had to dedicate a tree in the village of Bozeat in memory of a member who had died.  Then I dashed home and went with my husband by train from Wellinborough to London to march against the Iraq invasion.

The train was packed with people doing the same thing so there was standing room only.  In station in London we met my daughter who had travelled by train from Sheffield then we walked very slowly to Hyde Park.

There were so many people doing the same thing that we could hardly move and by the time we finally made it to Hyde Park the speaches were over, so I guess we weren’t even counted.

We planned to meet another daughter and son who were also on the same march but the crouds were so great that we couldn’t get near them.  My eldest daughter, partner and baby daughter marched in Newcastle and their photograph was in the local paper.
