LONDON- UNITED KINGDOM
I was working in London at the time. I was following really closely everything that was going on in Iraq, and was appalled by the series of lies Tony Blair was inventing to justify this crime. The day of the march was a magnificent day. Together with thousands of people we marched joyfully, peacefully and with pride, protesting for the obvious. I remember families with kids, lots of happy faces, music, and long -long hours of walk in the cold. It was impressive how all this crowd blended beautifully, and that I haven’t witnessed any conflicts or upheavals. On the contrary, the energy was so uplifting, that we ignored the cold and went with the flow. If I remember correctly, it must have been 5-6 hours of walk to HydePark. I will never forget it.
