I didn’t march on February 15 2003. On that day I was in my office trying to help the MEPs belonging to the Nonviolent Radical Party Transnational and Transparty.
Bush and Blair used to repeat that “doing nothing is not an option”, so the Radical MEPs wanted to avoid the war by sending Saddam Hussein into exile and placing Iraq under temporary UN administration.
The resolution was adopted with a great majority on February 19 2003 by the Chamber of Deputies of Italy. They also collected online signatures in support of this plan.
Within a few weeks and by March 19 2003, they collected over 27.000 signatures from 150 countries throughout the world.
