I marched in London. We left Folkestone early in the morning and were very near to the front of the march. We carried signs saying “Not in my name” and we blew our whistles when we reached Downing Street. We marched until we reached Hyde Park. As we walked back to Charing Cross to get our train home, we passed the people still marching all the way and there were still people getting off trains to join the march at 6 pm. I lived in Baghdad for a while – I could have told them that there were no WMDs. The day they bombed Baghdad I sat and watched the tv all day crying. I have not watched the news ever since then.
